Thank you for supporting the Chandler Fetterolf Memorial Music scholarship. It was established in 2017 to honor Chandler Fetterolf and his passion for music. This gift of love was established by his family. The scholarship has grown by heartfelt donations from family and friends who loved and cherished Chandler and will never forget his random acts of silliness and love.

Chandler left us too soon, at the tender age of 17.He was a perpetually kind, intentionally silly teen who loved to make you laugh. Chandler had an infectious personality and brightened a room when he walked in. Always willing to sacrifice himself, he sought out others who needed a laugh or some reassurance. He was a best friend to everyone who knew him.

Chandler had a passion for music from a very young age. He started learning his craft at Lakeview Middle School in The Colony, Texas. He developed into an outstanding musician in percussion, playing many instruments, but focusing on marimba and snare drum. He received numerous awards and honors including being a member of the prestigious “Honor Band of America” in 2017, Indianapolis, Indiana.

Chandler was a member of The Colony High School Drumline and Steel Drum Band for 3 years. He then transferred to Prosper High School, where he was a member of the Prosper High School Drumline, The Mighty Eagle Steel Drum Band, and The Prosper High School Wind Ensemble. He had dreams of attending North Texas University and majoring in music education. The Colony and Prosper drumlines have united in friendship through the bond Chandler has created.

Chandler was always thinking of others and left behind the gift of life for so many, with the donation of his organs and tissues. The seeds of love Chandler planted will continue to grow and touch many others in the years to come.

The Chandler Fetterolf Memorial Music Schoalrship goes to a Prosper High School Senior who was a member of the band and plans to pursue a degree in music.
